Monitor setup for HDV

Hello, I am building a workstation for my new JVC GY-HD110 camcorder. I have settled for HP wx4400 with matrox rt.x2. My real moot point is choosing the right monitor setup. CRT broadcast monitor is not an option right now due to price.

I would like to know your experiences and/or preferences.

a) One large panel (say, 22")to accomodate workspace and one smaller monitor (CRT or LCD) for HDV native preview (via rt.x2 DVI accelerated output)?

b) Two smaller panels (circa 20") for both workspace and previews?

I suppose I will be abe to upgrade my monitor setup over time, but my monitor budget now is cca 1500 USD equivalent.

Thanks for your time.
