DIscussing new HDMI capable Video Cards

Is this the right place ?
Or did i miss some thread in some other forum.
Quite a few new cards are out with FullHD and a combination of component and HDMI output.
Some support 2/3 monitors, etc..
It would be great to collect info and experiences on such vital devices...

Pierre:

I am looking at the latest Nvidea solutions for HD & XHD playback on my computer monitor (24" 1920X1200) and home theater monitor (NTSC 1080i).

At this point I wouldn't worry about HDMI but look for full HDCP compliance. There are many issues with HDCP and HD right now if you are thinking about pre-recorded playback.

You want at a minimum (Nvidea platform):
1. PureVideo - H.264 decode, mpeg-2 decode acceleration
2. HDCP compliance
3. XHD support
4. Dual Link DVI
5. Integrated HDTV Encoder

This is pretty much the 7600GT & 79XX series video cards.
