Which one is better?

Looking for an on-camera monitor in this price range…

With the exception of the Varizom including the battery, which of these two monitors are better?

Glidecam L4 pro:

Varizoom VZ-TFT 5.6-Inch (including shoe mount/sun shade, etc)

Again, which MONITOR is better – not the price vs included items…

*Or*

Is there another monitor in this price range I should be looking at…

Thanks for your input --

James, the links you posted don't work, I can help but I need to know what your price range is? Also I believe the glidecam only does 4/3. I have used both and we sent back the glidecam. I personally didn't like the picture, I have used the varizoom on my xl1 and it works great plus you can get the battery attachment with it which makes you more mobile.

i've developed a kind of blind trust with varizoom and their products because they're consistently good. the varizoom battery design included with the newer kits is brilliant and completely makes sense. my problem with camera mountable lcds in general is that their color reproduction and resolution is always a little lacking, regardless of brand and model. i recently purchased a varizoom 7" 16:9 kit, and it does it's job well. it's also the only decent lcd i've found in my budget that will flip on the x and y for use with 35mm adapters like the redrock micro m2 and letus35. nothing beats a good crt for framing and critical focusing, but the varizoom is very, very good.

Hi Guys --

Thanks for the feedback. Don't know what happened to the links -- here they are again:

Glidecam L4-Pro:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigation

Varizoom VZ-TFT 5.6-Inch:

Curious to know from a technical stanpoint -- which seems better?

They are both $399.00

Thanks again --
