Practicality of Delvcam Pro56 LCD Monitor?
I use a Canon XL1s. There are times when I miss not having a pop-out LCD monitor as on the Sony VX-2000, for the times when shooting in the field with battery power only (no AC) and I can't or don't want to be using the EVF. I've been researching this monitor and I see it requres external power.
What I'm wondering is, if I want to mount this monitor on top of the videocam what's the best place to put the battery? .....can it be mounted to the base of the camera to the tripod or accessory shoe. .....or do you stick it on your belt or in a pocket? If you have one of these I'd love to know what your impressions are, suggestions, ideas, etc. TIA, John |
