Computer monitor

Is there a way to use a regular computer monitor as a videocam monitor (connecting cam to display w/o a comp. processor between)? I have a DELL flatscreen display that I'd like to use as a stationary 'field' monitor for an XL2, meaning I'd like to view live feed of what the XL2 sees on this display to test custom presets, in camera effects. I'm aware the picture isn't accurate, but no big deal. Is there a converter for this?

EDIT: Probably best to move this to the thread about converting a TV into a monitor.
