HDMI Switcher, One Monitor, Two Cameras.
I use a SWIT 1071C "Plus" monitor as a focussing aid with my Lumix GH3s. I would like to connect both cameras to the monitor so that I can switch quickly from one to the other while still using the monitor.
I have seen some cheap HDMI switchers advertised on Amazon and the like. Powered via the HDMI input, and normally used to switch between say a Playstation and a TV set top box. These might do the job, but I wonder about power being delivered from the camera(s) to the switch.I will be using my kit out in the field, away from any mains power source. Has anyone any experience of this or suggestions? Ron |

Did you have any joy in achieving this?

I purchased a "HDMI 3 Port Switch" from Amazon UK. Works okay at home but not yet tried in the field.
