SD Monitors for field monitoring C300 shoot

What would be the drawbacks of using used Broadcast Quality SD Monitors for checking focus etc on shoot when shooting with a C300 ?

I would think focus would be the main drawback. Focus with large sensor cameras is tough enough to get with HD monitors, SD would be a real challenge. Not worth any risk imho.
