Field Monitors & Low Resolution?
Hello,
I have been watching the field monitor space for quite some time hoping for a good 11" solution with at least 720p resolution. 5" or 6" is just too small for me. Why is it that pro video monitors are so under resolved? Laptops and tablets are going to the moon with resolution and sub-$1,000 pro video monitors at B&H are not even 720p? Anybody seen a good solution? I own a small HD 9" and it is pretty good but I am always hoping for better in a 10" or 11" size. Thanks for your input. |

Re: Field Monitors & Low Resolution?
A lot of people are wishing that the ipad or similar tablet with high resolution would come out with an hdmi input so it could be used with cameras. There's no technical reason they aren't offered. It's probably due to the market for camera monitors being much smaller than for other electronics.
