Lilliput vs CoolLCD - 667GL - HD70HP - HD2
Lilliput 667GL
Lilliput HD70HD CoolLCD HD2 It's kind of hard to tell the difference between these field monitors...especially between the two Lilliput's. I'm leaning more towards the CoolLCD HD2 however the brightness is only 400cd compared to 450 and there is a 8 second delay vs 3 second when going from record/live view to playback. The HD2 does have a Focus Assistance function which I'm curious what exactly that is. Also it has safety markers (80%, 85%, 90%, 93%, 96%). Guessing that means it puts lines on the screen? Do the Lilliput's not have it? I could careless about the HDMI out that only the HD2 has. Any suggestions? Thank you

Re: Lilliput vs CoolLCD - 667GL - HD70HP - HD2
There is a 5.6" HD monitor on ebay uk ("Peaking 1280x800 HD 5.6 Inch DSLR LCD Field On-Camera Video Monitor Kit HDMI") for £140 from Hong Kong that sports apparently same spec (except for SDI input) as a TVLogic model costing many times as much.
Is this, as I hope, a logical consequence of the cost of these screens coming down now that high res smartphones are widespread and cheap ? |
