Connect video monitor to G5 PM?
I've got this video monitor, the Sony PVM-14L1 13-Inch Studio Monitor
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigation and would like to be able to connect it directly to my 2.0 G5 PM for uses other than FCP. Is this possible and what cable/connector would I need? Specs on the monitor show these connections: Input and Output Connectors S-Video- 4-Pin (x 2 input, 1 output) Composite Video- BNC (x 2 input, 1 output) Audio- RCA (x 2 input, 1 output) Remote-8-Pin Modular (x 1 input only) --------- Any help would be most appreciated. |

You should probalby go G5 --> firewire --> deck/camera --> analog (i suggest composite/RCA and s-video) --> monitor
At the G5, deck/camera, and monitor are settings you may need to change. G5: FCP has a setting. It's under A/V and external something. Deck: select DV --> a/v out monitor: select the right input. |
