Camera screen display on external monitor
I am using a Canon XHA1 with a Lilliput 667GL external monitor (component connection).
According to the note at the bottom of page 27 of the PAL manual, it states "The camcorder's on-screen displays will also appear on a connected external TV or monitor" However, it doesn't seem to work for me. Are there any settings in the camera that have to be changed? Cheers David |

Re: Camera screen display on external monitor
David, I haven't checked the A1 but most cameras have a menu function that lets you turn the on-screen displays on and off for an external monitor so I suggest a closer look in the display menu of the camera.

Re: Camera screen display on external monitor
yeach check your camera setting, there's probably an option to toggle between showing everything on the external display or not.
Also keep in mind that many times tools like peaking and zebra stripes don't appear in the external monitor. |

Re: Camera screen display on external monitor
Thanks to you both.
I found the menu setting under "TV". David |
