$100 720p monitor

Has anyone used the Coby TFTV1212 for monitoring?

It's a 12" 720p native display with a vga input. I guess the biggest issue would be battery power, and the needed to convert from component/hdmi to vga, but i'm wondering if it's still a good bargain.
