Any word on how the updated DP1x and DP-SLR look in terms of shadow detail and color reproduction? The old DP1 was incredibly bad in those areas, which really turned me off to SmallHD. If anyone has any reports on improvements, I'd be interested to hear.

Resolution is no replacement for peaking. If you're viewing the 5.6" LCD from more than a few inches away, critical detail wont be visible but peaking would be, and I would think if peaking is applied to the 1080p image before it is scaled to the 720p panel, it might be able to indicate detail that would not be visible otherwise.
