S-video to CRT monitor?
Hi gang!
Does anyone know what I need to connect s-video (Y/C) out from a camcorder to a CRT computer monitor (SVGA or VGA). What kind of connectors or converters do I need?

They are called various things, but i know them best as Scan Convertors. They are sometimes called encoders or transcoders. I assume you'll need PAL video so I am not sure where to recommend in the states. The scan convertor will take video and turn it into RGB for the computer. You'll also need a cable from the convertor to the monitor, so know what kind of connection your monitor needs.
