Budget 5" Monitor Project for XM2

£216 for 5" monitor, swanky support, charger+battery supply AND natty battery bag!

Project completed. I can now securly rack focus in the open .. SEE what I'm framing; keep my eye on the "bigger" picture; crank my XM2 WAY over the heads of people; be sure of the content that I've only viewed previopulsy through the e/p and the 2" LCD. No more craning my neck and forcing a shot outta my reach . . . and then giving up on getting the shot . .

.. . oh yeah it looks real Koooolll too! Can't say the same for the Cameraman . . . I'm now making a 2' Frotti Pan Handle out of a £1.90 B&Q pipe - that's gotta be £40.00 plus from Frotsville? . . . Thanks Robin for all the help with the "picture" you posted . . . Guess you wont be here much longer, now that you've had your head "turned" by another [ XL2 . . . ;-) ]

Grazie

C'mon Graham!

All you need is a flourescent colored "baseball hat" (sorry, I don't remember what they call such things over there), with a nice long shotgun mic mounted on top of it sitting on top of your head!

Your rig sounds terrific!

You laugh, but now that someone has said it outloud, these folks are liable to incorporate that into Lenzcap2. You'll want to apply for royalties now. ; )
