Sony PVM-1354Q Monitor Question

I bought a used PVM-1354Q (equivalent to the PVM-14M2U) monitor off of eBay recently and have a question about the 16:9 mode. When I switch to 16:9 (on the front panel) there are three small red, green, and blue horizontal lines in the upper letterbox. Is this normal?

i have a similar monitor and i just tried it with a non-16:9 project going and there is a very tiny line at the top that is rgb

i am pretty sure that when doing 16:9 stuff that line wasn't there, because i never noticed it untili i tried just now with a 4:3 project open.
