Camcorder as remote monitor?
Can I use one camcoder as a remote monitor for another camcorder? Specifically, using an old Sony PC7 to see what's being shot by a TRV900?

Sure you can... just run a firewire cable in between the two cams. Power up your PC7 into VTR mode. That oughta do it.

Thanks. I wasn't sure.....not having used my camera for so long and not having another one to attach it to.

How would you do the cabling?

Glenn, if I understand your question, all you do is connect the two cams together by plugging in each end of a FireWire cable in to the FireWire jacks on the camcorders. They're bi-directional jacks, and the cable carries video and audio together. If I misunderstood your question, please let me know.
