XHA1 Multiple Monitor Setup

I have an XH-A1 and I recently purchased a Marshall 7' LCD Monitor. I was wondering if anyone knew if you could attach two monitors to this setup. I attached the camera to my Marshall and it looks great, but I also wanted to connect another monitor using the loop though output to another monitor which is a Dell Widescreen 21 inch monitor using a VGA cable. I bought a Component to VGA and plugged it into the Marshall and for a second I was able to see the video on both monitors. I turned the camera off and later on tried it again and it did not work. Did I do something wrong? Is it possible to run two monitors at the same time with the loop through output? If anyone knows I would be greatly appreciated for some help. Thanks
