LinITX 7" transflective monitor

I've just bought one of these, went to try it and saw some strange vertical lines across the display's right side.

Is this normal on this kind (touchscreen) of monitor?

Any thoughts welcome

No it's not, I'd return and exchange the unit, but first make sure it's not environment related, i mean no magnets or electric cables near the screen,
and sure check the replacement right in the store.
