ikan v-8000hd and jvc gy hd 100

Hi-

I have my jvc gy hd 100 connected to an ikan v-8000hd. Component out of the JVC, with BNC adapters into the component inputs of hte Ikan. However, I get nothing.

When I hook the component cable to the standard input, I get a video signal.

Is it not possible to get an HD signal from the jvc to the Ikan?

Check your settings in the menu for the PB output. Try setting it to 720p.

I like it a lot! You can really the difference between the hi-def picture and the standard on it.

8 inches seems like a good size, though 9 or 10 would be a little better... but maybe it would get a little unwieldly.

The adapter that comes with it is very short, so to make it really useful, you need the Sony L series battery which doesn't come with it. I think Ikan makes a battery compatible with the camera as well, you have to purchase separately.
