Affordable HD monitor Question

So I finally when and bought a monitor. its from cartft.com model CTF700-H.

318.49 EUR's plus 16.50 for shipping.

It seems to be good and bright with its 600nits. 350 contrast. its a TMR screen.

My big question to all........Is every one getting a squeezed picture?

Im using the Component HD out from my Canon A1 to Mayflash then VGA out to
monitor.

It seems to get edge to edge fine but top and bottom is way off, its cut off and squeezed.

Is this what every one else is experiencing from there VGA set up?

2 shots.

1. with VGA

2. with the video out from the A1.

I hope there is a way around this issue, otherwise this is not a good solutoin for framing.

What do you all think?

.
