Blackmagic Intensity Pro & Nvidia 8800 Video Card

Hi all
I'm hoping someone may be able to answer my question about the Intensity Pro and Geforce 8800GT.
I know that the 8800 cards are not listed on the Blackmagic list of approved video cards, but since the 8800 series will not do overlay I was wondering if the HDMI output (and capture) would still work with the Intensity Pro only plugged into an LCD television.
Has anyone done this? Can someone tell me what kind of problems might arise using an 8800 video card with the Intensity Pro?
I sure could use some input here... I'd hate to buy the Pro and then find there were all kinds of compatability problems.
Thanks for your input!!
Kirk
