HDTV through HDMI

I am setting up a Mac Pro and will be using two Dell 24" monitors on dual DVI. I also will have a Blackmagic card with HDMI out and want to use a HDTV to check the picture. Yes I know this is not a production HD monitor but it is all I can afford and I think it will help to view at full size while editing on FCS2.

Would like the HDTV in the 32" size.

Thoughts and has anyone done this with success? If so what HDTV did you use?
