Proposed Unofficial Theme Song
Here I sit wondering what Meryem will be coming up with for a new theme, and a song pops into my head.
I propose the following as our unofficial theme song: Sung to the tune of Que Sera, Sera (Doris Day sang it in A. Hitchcock's "The Man Who New Too Much") When I was just a newbie here I asked Meryem, what will it be Will it be bugs, fowl or sport games, Here's what she said to me. Que Sera, Sera, Whatever will be, will be The future's not yours, to see Que Sera, Sera Whatever I say, will be. When I was entered in UWOL 3 I asked her again, what lies ahead ? Will we have rainbows or sunshiney days Here's what Meryem said to me Que Sera, Sera, Whatever will be, will be The future's not yours, to see Que Sera, Sera Whatever I say, will be. Now I have new friends in this challenge They ask of me, what will it be Will it be snakes, fish, camels or trees, I tell them tenderly. Que Sera, Sera, Whatever will be, will be The future's not ours, to see Que Sera, Sera Whatever she says, is what it will be. What's more, if any one out there can lay down a singable piano track, we could get the members to record their own versions and then fold them all into a group sing..

Thanks Geir, now we are going places...... I'll work on my vocals [ ....clears throat..., sceeches, window breaks....] and I look forward to other beautiful vocal tracks......I guess I can put them on a time line... Maybe we we should have Meryem make it the price of admission in this go round.....
Remember all vocal contributors, vocal track only....listen to music in headphones only...

Now this is looking great!!! Would be willing to do lyrics if I had a sense of timing. I came from a family of professional musicians and I was the black sheap of the family as I could play but could never keep in time!!! also could never remember lyrics, at least in this case one could actually read them.
If you can get Per Johan to give it a go I would too!!! Watch, he is probably the multitalented type that can sing and dance too!!

ok, but only if i get to be doris day.... and, yeah, i really want to hear a boys' chorus of norwegian accents backing me up. coupled with the creepy carousel version of this music, that would be perfect! |

Hmmm, well, hmmmm, I'm humble to be asked to be this team's leadsinger!
But honestly to sing is not in my gate, I have to think about this? Meryem, what about a duet? ;-)

Okay guys and gals, we need voices to fill this dispicable track up. Please post your mp3 voice tracks.... You don't want the following to be your unofficial UWOL song, do you ?

Wow, Chris - that was an unforgettable perfermance :)
It sounds lika a meeting at the local pub, is it just you singing or? I'm sure it was fun doing it, and now the rest of us have to come up with something, give me some days and I'll be back with my version. |
