UWOL #3 THEME ANNOUNCEMENT - Get after it!
The theme for this month is (drum roll please)...
THE WILD yes, that's it! whatever means you can think of to depict this concept--whether animal, mineral, or vegetable. (Or even human, for those of you who didn't get enough of our previous theme.) We're looking for the entry which best explores this mysterious, ineffable thing which summons us into nature and the outdoors. It's very wide open to interpretation in terms of content, but your very challenging job is to try to approach the essence. Good luck! Get after it! |

It took me all of around a minute to come up with a concept and a title. Now it all depends on if I can get the shots I want.
This should be fun. |

The Wild
That's a great theme Meryem.
And I feel so free to quote from Steppenwolfs hit, "Born to be wild". "Get your motor runnin' Head out on the highway Lookin' for adventure And whatever comes our way Yeah Darlin' go make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your guns at once And explode into space Like a true nature's child We were born, born to be wild We can climb so high I never wanna die Born to be wild Born to be wild" I wish you all good luck on uwol#3. |

What an excellent theme!
I can't wait to start on this one. It looks like I will have to start working on a concept here.... I already did a-bit of research on the term "wild." It came up with some interesting things... Best of luck to y'all! ~Gabriel

Did I miss it, or is there no restriction on file size listed on that page?
I see the frame size restriction, and the duration restriction, but no file size restriction. |

we are trying to permit slightly larger file sizes to enhance compression quality. so you're right. the cat's out of the bag. we are upping the file size to 60mb. e-mail on that issue (and a few others) forthcoming....
mat is updating a few items on the website right now, so you probably are catching him in progress.... |
