And Heeeeere They Are! The Finishers & Links to Vids
Congratulations to all who finished. We had a whoppin' 25 completed entries, not bad for a first effort!
I'm amazed by what you've accomplished, everyone. Every video had at least one of those magical moments--the "oh wow" moments that outdoor video producers live for....So much work goes into getting that one great shot. Some of you spent days and days out there. I'm impressed. You can view all of the entries at our website...they're all conveniently loaded up for you in one place. Just go to: http://uwolchallenge.com/currentsubmisions.htm and click on the title. If it doesn't immediately stream for you, either right-click or control-click to download the title... Finishers: Start your own feedback thread here at dvinfo...it should say: UWOL #1: "Title" by Your Name The feedback is the fun part! This is where our community excels! One note on viewing: Ken D.'s submission clicks to a youtube page...he had his submission completed and went out of town before our website was completed. Our judges will release their decision within a week. We'll do a separate feedback thread for UWOL 1. But for now, a deep breath and a huge round of congratulations and thanks to all who participated: Bruce Forman "Driven by the Winds" Bradley Loren Marlow "Best Laid Skies" Brendan Marnell "Birdlife over Crete" Brian McKay "Frozen in Time" Chris Barcellos "Above the Earth" Dale Guthormsen "Life in the Sky" Gordon Hoffman "Wind Country" Geir Inge Bjorneseth Brekke "Underneath the Living Sky" Grant Sherman "Turbulent Skies" Gabriel Yeager "Duck, the Snow Falleth" J. Cody Lucido "The Living Skies in Memoriam" Jim Michael "Friendly Skies" Jim Montgomery "It is Written" Kevin J Railsback "The Living Skies" Mat Thompson "Home to Roost" Nick Ambrose "Flights of a Feather" Per Johan "From the Sea to the Peak" Rick Phillips "Appalachian Living Skies" Ruth Happel "Clear Skies" Bob Safay "Watch the Sky" Steve Siegel "Fowles of Diver Sorts" Paul Wags "The Living Skies" Randy Allen "Business" Ken Diewert "Waiting for Rain" Darryl Ahye "Passing Time" |

Once again thanks to this community, especially Chris, Meryem, Mat and Kevin who has made this possible!

oh, one other suggestion--when you put up your feedback thread, add a direct link in the thread to your film....it will make it easier for your viewers to simply link to it straight out of your thread...also helps if they want to review your entry while thinking about possible feedback.
