UWOL during the covid19 pandemic

Hi everyone,

The corona situation has affected everyone around the world. Some countries way more than others, and we suspended the UWOL55 challenge in August "until further notice."

I'm thinking about the possibility to get the UWOL challenge and the #55 challenge started again, but first I would like to get some inputs:

How is the pandemic situation in your country/ your area now? On the rise/ decreasing?
Do you think you could be able to go out with your camera the next two months (December and January)?

Trond, I think we should give it a try. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am ready to get out and see something other than my backyard. Bob

I'm thinking that a decision should be made by the end of this week. So I hope to hear from as many as possible before I make the go/ no go.

You and Bob being in two countries which are severely hit by the pandemic, and still being positive / ready for a new challenge, sounds promising.

I'll give it a couple more days to let others get a chance to see and comment this thread, before I make a decision for go/no go.

If we go for it, the signup will remain open almost until deadline, and a relatively easy theme.

We're doing much better here in Peru so I'm okay with starting again. With nine months of masks and distancing and a lot of other things, we've gone from one of the worst places to be to a country who saw a huge decrease in positivity rates when we opened back up over two months ago.

I've been going out and filming with various cameras 2-3 days a week since out months' long quarantine was lifted October 1.

The problem here is that the rainy season is just beginning!

Iowa is finally getting lower numbers now that the governor finally put in a mask mandate.
