Re: UWOL 52 - Tales of wonders and woes
Luckily noticed the closing date is not until the 4/8. Think I might have an entry this round with some footage from the last couple of weeks coupled with a little archive. Just frantically writing a script and cross checking the behavioral science facts are correct. If all goes to plan should get down to editing tomorrow.

Re: UWOL 52 - Tales of wonders and woes
Normally I have no problem finding wildlife to film. this round with heat and heavy winds it was almost impossible. the film i wanted to make couldnt reslly happen. To avoid the tank I halved my intentions.
Anxiety struck as i was running out of time, could of swore dead line was 30th. thanks for the help posting. at least I followed through this time. To get started again I needed a new work station and sent the old xlh1 out for repairs, wallet much thinner! Boy am I out of practice. Look forward to the next round so I can have a little more fun at it.

Re: UWOL 52 - Tales of wonders and woes
Good to have you back, Dale!
I'm balancing on the edge of the shark tank. Haven't filmed anything but some dolphins, who played near my boat, the other day. No idea how to make that into a full video, story wise. Hopefully I can come up with something. |

Re: UWOL 52 - Tales of wonders and woes
Just scraped over the line and submitted this evening.
It's been a challenging shoot- heat haze was a consistent issue and avoiding it meant a lot of very early mornings. Then halfway through I lost a weekend to thunderstorms and pretty torrential rain. But... it's also been a fantastic learning experience. I've really enjoyed observing my subjects and I've overcome some technical challenges that will make future projects easier. I hope everyone else has had fun and really look forward to watching your entries. Henry
