Re: UWOL 47 - Watch the films here

Hi Bob, filmed those in the Masi Mara January 2007. Filmed with the trusty Canon xlh1 and would have been with either the stock lens or a canon 70-200mm f 2.8 EOS lens using the canon EOS adapter. Looking forward to seeing your footage upon your return.

Where in the Mara are you staying?

Mick

Re: UWOL 47 - Watch the films here

Hello.
Sad that only one video was delivered this round.
On the other hand, it's an amazingly well done movie, we're so lucky to see.
Thank you Bob for a great movie and thank you Trond and Chris for giving us the opportunity to play UWOL.

I have done some recordings for this round, seabirds, and most of it on the island of Runde.
Unfortunately, my mother-in-law became ill and there were some tough rounds.
Such is life once in between. Luckily she is now getting better and soon we hope to celebrate her 90th birthday.

Hope to contribute with a movie next time.
CU around :)

Re: UWOL 47 - Watch the films here

Thanks, Bob, and that last line says it all, for us UWOL ers, “Just take the time, and look for it.”

I’m really glad that you did take the time, and produced a great film,

I have to confess that I nearly filmed a bees nest in the roof of my outhouse here in Spain, but that would have been to find out where the entrance was, for nefarious purposes in the night with a spray can, and I’m glad I didn’t , as apart from the odd bee in the bedroom from the adjoining built in wardrobe, they have been no bother.

I guess I have to get up early and try and film the deer and occasional wild boar family passing the end of my road. ( a year or so ago I spent a week there and saw nothing), or, if I’m feeling lazy, the ants destroying my vegetable garden!

Well done!

Well done Bob. Carrying the torch for UWOL this round. I only got as far as filming some of what I needed.
I liked the use of theme, and the thought provoking piece. Simple idea, but gets the point across nicely. Why do I always over complicate my plan A, B and C?
