Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
Finally I managed to shoot something that I planned for, but still not enough footage to get out something useful. I am happy that I started
It's very odd thing I am trying to work on with wild life, we normally work at getting colours of the wildlife I am trying not to get them :) Let's see if I manage to string it together. |

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
I'm excited to see all the videos. I think this will be an exciting game.
I hope the shark tank will be empty this round. Today came the first winter snow. Yesterday I made some recordings with the drone of an essential element of my story. There was some wind, but I think the footage was good enough. The night recordings I talked about earlier are intended for the northern lights. Yesterday night, there was some amazing northern lights. Unfortunately for me, I could not leave my job. Because of this, you understand for sure that I am not in the cheerful mood today. Will probably be happy again until tomorrow. Then there is some new unwritten sheet that provides new opportunities. Right? Do you know that here in Norway, the weather is something we talk a lot about? Talking about the weather is often something that gets you started a conversation between people. But we've also blessed with a lot of different types of weather, so we always have something to talk about, haha. We have no tornado or cyclone though. Although we talk a lot about the weather, I do not think we miss the two types of wind ;) All the best good friends. |

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
Geir Inge if I set the shark tank up in my back yard I think it would be empty. At least a person wouldn't have to tread water as it would be froze over with snow on it.
I'm still waiting to the shoot the main part of my idea which looked like it might happen this weekend but now they've change the forecast again. Have had about all of it this month so far. Some nice sunrises/sunsets, sunshine, rain, snow and wind with gust to 110k. Not easy coming up with a plan. Gordon |

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
Well,
I have shot my video and now I am trying to make it work, may have to change my ideas and go a new direction to stay out of tank, my main star came down sick and wont be making an appearance at all.

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
Wow that is some serious chop on the lake Dale! Might there be a little wind in your film perhaps?
Sounds like there may be less people in the shark tank this time round, myself included i hope! Can't wait to see all the films.

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
I know that feeling too well. Have had some amazing weather perfect for film this month. But it all happend while I was at work, haha.
Still plenty time until deadline, and I have at least filmed something. But a story... well that's a different issue. Have fun! |

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
My plans keep having to change because of the weather of all things but I feel I've shot some of the best footage of my life!
I've reviewed some of it the other day and I thought to myself, that can't be something I've shot! Now I need to figure out how to put something together that flows and is on themes! :) |

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
Now we have weather as a theme and we here are faced with only unpredicted weather conditions, i wanted to shoot the sun and we have had rains here all Grey again. This has not helped me with the shooting.
I did do some shooting but the story has completely gone out of the window due to changes in weather, Showing the full Sun and Rains in same breath is kinda strange isnt it :) However i picked up a sound track and now gonna try and put together and see what it comes out to be. I just hope you all dont throw me into the shark tank for that :) |

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
Hi everyone:
With 4 days to launch time, the forum chat is picking up and the suspense is really starting to build! :) I can't wait to see what you all have put together. Comments from Geir, Trond, Dale, Bob, Matt, Kevin... it's like coming home to family! Also with the added splattering of "new" faces... "new" to me anyway! I find it amusing that the theme, weather, has gotten in the way of our shooting, ha... who would have thought! Cheers, and will the waiting ever end? Bring it on! It's UWOL 36 time! Cat |

Re: UWOL36 Tales of wonders and woes
I have shot some of the worst footage of my life. You wont see most of it. perhaps I need a bloopers reel!
I have my little film all edited. Now I am trying to compose some guitar music for it, was thinking bag pipes might be more apporpriate, just can't play them!

Mr Thompson,
Long time no see, and your name was missing in the signup thread. Therefore you have been challenged to participate in the next round! :) Have a look at the "get together 2016." |
