UWOL 21 Films For Viewing!
Here we go with the submissions from eight UWOL players. You are in for a treat watching videos that strike a unique and enjoyable chord using the theme, “Birds, Fish, Reptiles, and Amphibians.”
Our finishers: Simon Wood, Uganda; Mike Sims, USA; Finn-Erik Faale, Norway; Geir Inge B. Brekke, Norway; Bob Safay, USA; Markus Nord, Sweden; Rob Evans, UK, Bill Thesken, USA. With the new Vimeo Pro hosting provided by Chris Hurd, seven of the videos will be found using the Vimeo link provided at the end of this post. One may be found on a different site, which is permissible this round because the new rules were drafted mid-challenge. When you have watched a video, feel free to come back here and give these fine artists your thoughts. After all their hard work they will appreciate your feedback whether you submitted a video or not. Remember to post on their feedback threads rather than on this one. Enjoy the shows! http://www.vimeo.com/user8310268/videos The Mighty Gregory By Bill Thesken On ExposureRoom

congrats to the finishers and thanks to the players for hanging in there and getting your films done through the changes - it's only going to get better from here...
huge props to Lorinda for pulling together the new channel and to Chris for keeping the commitment to a UWOL archive. it looks really good, and it's nice to be able to view films in the larger format, without compression headaches. |

Meryem nailed it--with the changes going on during this round it's so impressive to see eight resilient filmmakers make UWOL 21 a success with some great entries.

I have a few videos left to view, and will try to get time tomorrow, and then give my feedback.
