It Is Time! Meet and Greet the Judge for UWOL 20
Hi everyone:
I have the immense pleasure to introduce you to our judge for UWOL 20: Meet MerryLee Herrmann of ML Productions: M.L. She is a gifted film maker who has and is making her mark in the film world. Her sense of self and well being can't help but rub off on those around her and tends to motivate us to reach our own potential. Her encouragement is wonderfully contagious! To give additional insight as to the type of person she is, she is thrilled to be our judge this round and is excited to meet all of you, even though she is currently on tour with her own award-winning work at film festivals around the U.S. Please give a very warm welcome to MerryLee. I'll sign off with MerryLee's professional bio. Cat ____________________ MaryLee Herrmann, of ML Herrmann Productions, is a Colorado-based producer and director with 12 years of professional experience. She started on the other side of the camera as an actor and uses that experience now directing actors in commercial and narrative roles. Her client list includes working for the Ford Motor Company, Frontier Airlines, Perkins Restaurants, Village Inn Restaurants and Qwest. She produced the Denver-based feature film, Jimmy Said, and recently produced and directed the award-winning short narrative, The Necklace, which is currently on the film festival circuit. With an affinity for using film as a tool for social change, she is drawn to working with non-profits on strong PSA campaigns. MaryLee recently completed a training film, Ashley Waits, for the U.S. Air National Guard’s Wingman Project, which helps teach ways to prevent suicide among guardsmen and their families. With several projects in development, MaryLee’s take on captivating storytelling is simple: Draw them in, make them feel, then let them go. Inspired. |
