UWOL #14 Theme Announcement...
Either I'm turning 45 next month (*gulp*, how did that happen so fast??) -- or it must be this new puppy in my life...
But your theme for this round is: RHYTHMS AND CYCLES Let's explore the cyclical, rhythmic nature of nature... under water or over land, in earth, air, fire, and water, tele or macro.... get out there and shoot something! Deadline is Sunday, August 2, midnight anywhere in the world. Good luck and get after it... |

Time flies when you're having fun, Mereym!
I'm looking forward to this one, and have an idea that will work, IF: - It doesn't rain non-stop for the next three weeks - My subjects haven't flown home for the winter!

meryem,
Great topic, Was cluless to start with but I think I have a couple ideas. the difficulty of this one is that most cycles are farely time consumptive. 22 days to film an entire cycle, hummmmm?

Great frog-hopping spittle bugs! You’re finished? Way to go Kevin. I’m only just beginning to get the first glimmer of an idea- having rejected several dozen that were good but impossible for me to shoot in the allotted time. I can’t wait to see what you’ve got. Good show!

I'm sure I'll probably throw it out and do something totally different by the time the deadline rolls around. :)
I'm leaving for Monterey, California on Friday which I had hoped to get some great footage for the theme. But Cali doesn't work with what I shot. So, if I come up with something from California, I'll redo everything. Which is kinda sad in a way cause I like what I have. :) Plus, I don't have a single shot of Prairie Creek in this one! :) |
