How do we do this?
Hey all
since that first deadline is drawing near i was wondering what the format is going to be for the first submission. I guess my progress is mainly story boards and scripting and planing. Also are we allowed to use animaiton/effects etc? do we get a thread each? its my first time be gentle Jen |

This is my first one also, and I have similar questions. There was some discussion about adding mpeg4 to acceptable file formats. Did this happen? If we host our entries ourselves are there the same resolution and file size limitations? Also, what will be the file naming convention for the new multipart contest?

OK. I finally reread the rules and realized that when they were revised most of my questions were answered. Jen- we do start our own feedback threads. Story boards, scripts, animation/effects are all OK. Mpeg4 is in. If we host it we can exceed resolution and file size restrictions. I’m still unclear about file naming. Is this contest UC11 (or is that the next short form)? How about UCLF1? Also, how do we designate that the file is for the first deadline? Would the following be an acceptable file name?

I'll send 'round a group email this weekend some time. Since the long-form contest is new, there will be some variation, but I still haven't got all of the variable completely under control. Stay tuned.
