Norway
Hi everybody
A question for the Viking's. I think to go in Norway this summer, only two weeks, second part of July. where can i go to see animals ? is there an area with a good panel of life ? This afternoon a new clip on my web site (Colaptes pitius) the assembly is a little bit expeditious i'm sorry. But i have to assemble, hummingbirds, fox, lobos marinos, loica, guanaco and others. Best regards Gilles |

Gilles,
suppose what kind of animals you're after? Norway is a very long spread country with a wide variety of wildlife! You have amazing coastlines, woods and mountains area. I think the best for you will be to pick a specific area to study.

Hi Gilles and welcome to Norway.
There are different places to go if you want to see animals and birds. Runde is an bird island where you in fact can photograph or videoing the birds right at your feet, so to speak. The season starts in April/May and last until September and there are about 1 million sea birds of different species. Animals are not so easy, but you can go on Musk Ox and Elk safari at Dovre. We have big farm called Langedrag, and there you can film Polar Fox, Wolf and different kinds of animals. Way up North at Lofoten you can go on Whale safari and maybe catch the Killer Whale. Maybe per Johan can fill me in on this one. Please do give a sign when you come to Norway. It will be a honor for me to follow you to Runde. Geir Inge |

Norway/Finland ?
Hi
What do you think about this place in Finland "Kuhmo" ? for the bear and others animals. We think to cut the trip in two parts Norway (Muskoaks) and Finland "Финляндия". Have you tips or address in Finland (hotel, place, organisation etc...) for the bear we prefer to be alone, without group but with a guide. We will be with our vehicle, in fact we are looking for a good place to stay and a good guide with good place to film. Best regards Gilles |

If you are going to Finland I would definitive make up my booking as soon as possible! I know that the place in Kuhmo is filled up very rapidly! Maybe there will also be a bit difficult to get those places alone as there is several hides at every place. At my website you will find a link to the Kuhmo place (Arcticmedia).
