Brian,
Checked the weather the other day and supposedly the only place colder on the planet than here in Sask was Siberia russia. Of course if you count wind chill that is another case!!! the North is no place for a southerner. Today is pretty nice -20, light wind, positively exellerating to be out in. Heck I was out flying a kite for awhile!! Look forward to the tee shirts.

I'm just about ready to jump from a tall building....the storm rages on. Earlier I thought I saw my neighbors porch light....I think. The granddaughter is tired of us and she's ready to go home...we ran out of DVD's, books, the crayons are worn down to nubs and my nerves are worn out completely.
I don't know what I did but what ever it was it PO'd mother nature to no end. Dale Siberia sound good to me....Bob I'm starting to see it your way, I've got to be nuts. Brian |

Brian,
This winter we have only had a couple weeks of cold!!! may be another winter that never was. Being weather bound is the pits!!!! Sounds like a great theme for an indoor version of a uwol competition. Show the insanity, shoot out the window once in awhile. could have fun with that one, and never even go outside.

brian--try coloring.com, that should be good, for oh say, half an hour of brain-frazzling toddler entertainment....
and if that doesn't work, there's always 144 nature films that you can download from a certain nature and outdoors video producer's site that i know of...would you like the name of the link? |

Thanks for the link...I've seen enough nature films this past week to fill my need for the remainder of my life....such classics as Nemo, Bambi and my once upon a time favorite Jungle Book.
I'm about ready to sell my camera kit and take up hunting...... Brian |

I got my T-shirt!
Wow, I got my hands on the T-shirt. It arrived in my mail-box today.
In fact I'm wearing it right now, sitting in my editing studio, puzzling with tons of footage for uwol-7. This is very inspirational and force me to try to reach 6 new uwol-rounds for another shirt! Thanks a lot to this community!

Quote:
Here I am in my brand new UWOL T-shirt and just so you know, I'm very proud to wear it. It's - 16C, so it's cold in the snow :) Tomorrow I'm heading back home and start editing my adventure. Geir Inge Last edited by Geir Inge; February 16th, 2008 at 10:58 AM. |
