Happy Christemas you great uwolers :)
No uwol - nice weather? It's not fair.
After months with rain and bad weather, we've finaly got some nice weather. But maybe I can have some fun even if the uwol is shut down for this year :) I want to wish everyone a Happy Christemas and hope to meet you all next year, to another great round of the Uwol Challenge. Here's a little present from me and my Puffins. Wmv-file: http://home.tussa.com/gibb/gibbwmv/Puffinswmv.wmv QT-file: http://home.tussa.com/gibb/gibb/Puffins.mov Best wishes! Geir Inge B. Brekke |

And a happy Christmas from me to all my uwol friends/family too!
Yes, isn't it typical that we finally got some nice weather. Well, that's a good excuse to "delay" the Christmas prepairings and get out practicing with our cameras... Counting days until February 1st, haha Year 2 will be great! Just as year 1 has been. International uwol tour to Geir Inge's location in the spring (May?)? |

Geir,
Thanks for sharing- that is beautiful! I really enjoyed seeing the puffins. Years ago my aunt took a photo of them that appeared on the cover of an American nature magazine, Ranger Rick, and it was her love of nature that inspired my own, so I feel I owe those birds! I hope you have a very merry Christmas, and I'll see you again- in cyberspace- in the new year! Ruth

Geir!
O.K. I've just received my Christmas present early! The puffin film was amazing and beautiful to behold! They look so unreal to me, like they should be little wooden toys or something. Thank you for this! I'm impressed (as usual) with you Norwegians... filming and submitting films in the off-season! Trond has been filming lots with their family dog, Vera. You guys are inspirational :-). MERRY CHRISTMAS to all! And God bless you each and everyone in the New Year! Cat P.S. Any updates on the UWOL t-shirt? I'll be the first one to buy one when it's ready! |

Geir, great shots and music. Last time I tried to go video puffins in Maine, I missed them by a wek. This kind of made up for it. So, now I wish Happy Holidays to all my UWOL friends. No matter what part of this planet you may live on, it is still a part of our Mother Earth. The best to you all in the new, and exciting year to come. Bob Safay

Happy Holidays to everyone as well as a wish that each of you have a happy and healthy new year.
I also wanted to point out a very well kept secret. The guys in Norway would be well aware of this. Santa hates to carry the big stuff any distance, it's tough on the Reindeer so those of us who live nearest the North Pole have an advantage......I only wish. Have a good one guys and gals. Brian |
