Slogan 2 from Geir Inge
12) UWOL fills you up inside.
13) Wildlife videoingized!! 14) Wildlife videoing, couldn't ask for more. 15) Wildlife videoing is the word. 16) Wildlife videoing makes me happy. 17) Wildlife videoing the sign of success. 18) Smart people choose World wide wildlife video. 19) World wide wildlife video, not that other crap. 20) UWOL - the science of wildlife video. That's it, now my brain is empty :) Good luck Meryem, now you suddenly in it to your neck, choosing the slogan, hahaha Geir Inge |

I've been too busy stumbling around in the dark on the current challenge to look much at dvinfo the past few days, but this looks like a fun thread. Here are some more ideas- there are lots of good ones already- what a creative explosion here!
1- We Put the Wild On Tape 2- Get Wild 3- Nature Cam 4- Film Your World 5- Under Water Over Land - Camera In Hand 6- Capture Nature 7- Take Only Video (leave only tripod prints) 8- We're Wild For You 9- UWOLers- The Wild Bunch 10- Zooming Through Nature Ruth |

I personally like Don's idea of "Tales of Wonder and Woe."
Then of course Chris has to get smart with it. Haha. I like those, they get my vote... ~Gabriel

oh, looky here...young gabriel. at last, we have a sighting. how is Young Love treating you, gabe?
"Tales of Wonder and Woe" is a bit gothic, i think, from the depths of my over-wrought personality...a bit too h.p. lovecraft, i would say. it makes me think of catacombs and manacles and scorned love. but i'm glad to hear that folks like the turn of the phrase, for what it is.... benjamin's "animal-tested" has a kernel in it...maybe we should print up that whole standard "no animals were harmed in the making of this movie" blurb in small print below the logo... "animal-tested, planet Earth-approved" "Earth-friendly media from all across the globe" there's no such thing as too many good ideas! keep spewing them out! |

interesting trivia tidbit that i just learned that might be of general interest...
the American Humane Association has registered "no animals were harmed" as a trademark...so we can't mimic their material, although i think "animal-tested" is ok... and they have a downloadable PDF with their guidelines at their website. it's not really pertinent to shooting animals in the wild, but it is kind of interesting reading for anyone interested in the ethical treatment of animals in Hollywood films. |
