What an absolute nightmare. When I graduated my house was burgled 3 times in 8 weeks....yep you heard right. By the last time I was ready to kill....really!

Scum bags who can do nothing but wreck the world for others who have more to give !

That said I'm sure you'll be back shooting before to long fella.

Regards
Mat

Thank you for your thoughts Fernando. It happened just outside of Caspe next to the main reservoir on the Ebro River system.
Sadly I had to cut my work short, pack everything and drive back to UK.

Will I go back to Spain after this...never!

No, I'm only kidding, of course I'll go back to Spain.

I love the country. The only thing about Spain I dislike (apart from the thieving!) is the amount of waste rubbish - paper, tins, bottles, plastic etc that is thrown and left everywhere with total disregard for the environment.

I think that they would need to kill me to stop me travelling back to any country.

Someone actually shot me in the back of the head while I was in California, and I've been back to USA many times since...so I'm a sucker for punishment I suppose.

Tony, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I just returned from two weeks in Brazil and thankfully had no problems. I have been burglerized in the past and know how badly you feel. So sorry that there are people out there that have no soul. Bob

Thanks Bob and Yeo, for the kind words.

I'm starting to get my mind properly back into my work and it does help me to take my mind off other things.

I've completed everything now on the French double DVD set, except for the final narrative; but at the moment I'm stuck with no decent camera and mics to complete it.

I'm scraping the barrel to buy some new kit but it’s a very slow process. For the time being, I mainly need a camera & mics just to talk the narrative on to DV tape and download it to the timeline – It will then be ready for final production and distribution.
If there is anybody in UK that can offer help or to loan mic recording equipment for a few days please don't hesitate to contact me.

tony, there are a lot of great shooters in the UK who participate in the UWOL Challenge...you may be able to find someone to help you out in that community. would you like me to help you inquire about getting some help with your project? asking individuals may yield better results than the general request.

so sorry to hear about your gear.

Thank you for the nice offer, Meryem, and yes, of course any help would be welcomed at the moment.

Your first message was automatically directed by Hotmail into the "Junk Folder" before I recieved it, so obviously your Email address is on the system files as 'junk' or dangerous.
It was lucky that I sometimes check that page or I would have missed it.

My two answers sent to your yahoo address have come back with a message saying 'held-up' during transit. Possibly a glitch in your PC system?

Best regards Tony
