Macro Snail
I bought me a new Sigma zoomlens the other day, 70-300 with macro function. I had to try it out on a snail in my garden and here is the clip.
Just added some music and the rest is plain as it was filmed. The lyrics in the beginning is in norwegian and means something like: "The house on it's back". Filesize 78 mb (QTime): Snail |

Snail
Hi Geir
I did a bit of footage on snails last week in the garden with the XL with stock lens, I used the interval timer set at 30 seconds interval and 2 sec record, I was surprised how quick the snails moved out of shot when on a flat surface, their instinct is to make for cover and get in to the dark in day light away from it’s many predators. I must join in the next UWOL comp. |
