Videoing in Brazil
Well hello to all. A week from today, 16 June, I leave for two weeks of videoing birds and other wildlife in the Pantanal region of central Brazil. I then go to the Iguassu Falls on the Argentine boarder and then up to Rio. Has anyone out there ever been to these areas, and if so, any suggestions? I will be taking the Canon XL-2, 20x and 3x lens plus 1.6 teleconverter and various filters and a rain cover. I will post clips when I return. Bob

Well, dude, I'm from Rio but have never been to any of these places...
My most important suggestion though is to take care of your safety and your gear's. Brazil is a very beautifull country bur very unsafe too. I never go out with my FX1 on the streets here or I'll surely come back home without it! Good luck! PP |

Pedro, I was with a small (10 people) photo/eco tour. We were all warned about Rio and staying off the beaches at night. None of us had any problens. Did a LOT of filming. It was so beautiful there in the Pantanal and at the Falls. Bob
