Alaska clips
Here are a few clips from our Alaska trip last year, shot with Sony Z1. Music experiment with Garage Band loops.

Sweet stuff Jim, just wish there was more of it. :)
I liked how the bird flying by the waterfall really gave it scale. |

Thanks Kevin. I wanted to provide some images large enough to show detail while keeping the total file size small. The clip with the bird is one of my favorites for showing the scale of the landscape.

Jim,
Very nice clip!! I really liked the plane landing, great pan and great land! The whale clip seemed rather flat and wondered if you have tried to color correct it?? I loved the arial footage!! You must have got them to clean their wind sheild!!

The seaplane pilots were making some great landings. The Beaver pilot I flew right seat with was very smooth; I couldn't tell when we touched the water. That particular landing was in Vancouver.
I did some minor color correction on the whale shot and will have to experiment with it some more. It was very overcast and rainy that day so the lighting was very flat. Thanks for the critique. |
