Solar Charger for high altitude ?
Hi, I’m going to be spending approximately a month in the Indian Himalayas working on a project about nomadic shepherds well away from any kind of electricity supply and am looking for some advice on the best kind of solar charger for charging batteries on my PD 150 . I have 3 NP_F960’s batteries but from previous experience they can run down quickly in cold temps so I need some kind of charger that could be attached to the outside of a backpack so I could be charging the batteries while on the move. High altitude sun is strong which is good I think but I also need a charger that is compact and light. Does anyone have experience of this kind of situation? Thanks Robb.

Take a look at this site.
http://www.siliconsolar.com/portable...er-systems.php They have a few products that could work for you. Basicly the systems on the likk above will provide 120V output for you to plug your charger into. I have been interested in solar for many years, and they have some of the best solar products around. |
