Outdoor sporting event from above
I need to record a sporting event from above. I want to run an cable back to my PC and record directly to my hard drive. I have tried webcams and the resolution is very poor. A 1 mega-pixel min. would give me the quality I need. I need the ability to mount a very, very wide angle lens. Anybody have any idea's. I will use 5 cameras at each event so cost is a factor.
Thanks, Dylan |

what's the event? (knowing what you're shooting would help a lot...) why 5 cameras? why not a few, better rez cameras (say, 2 or 3) than 5 poor-rez cameras? and with so many cams in operation, why not just stick to tape?
and what are you asking advice about? how to mount them? how to choose the right camera? more info! |

Paintball from above
Hello,
To answer the most important question 1st. Why 5 cameras. 1 cam per field x 5 fields. 1 overhead view of the whole field to view both sides of play . There are 8 games per team, per day x 100 teams . I need to title each game at the begining. I tried tape and in the end it was a nightmare in post production, matching schedules that were off by 11 minutes. It all goes to disk in the end to burn to DVD's. Thank you for the interest, Dylan |
