"Ultimate" Wildlife Video Program on Discovery
This week, Discovery Channel is featuring a wildlife movie that shows a degree of danger to the shooter, that few of us would ever experience. It's mostly hand-held and unsteady, but content rules. It's called "Grizzly Man" and no one should miss seeing it. You might learn as much about what not to do in the field, as anything else. The videomaker didn't need a long lens for these shots, as sometimes he's actually touching his wild subjects. No one can say he didn't give his all.

The guy in the film was actually killed by one of the bears...so, yes, it definitely shows how not to do it...

I decided I couldn't bring myself to watching someone doing something so stupid and unnecessary. Sad that he somehow convinced someone else to get mauled along with him.
