Helmet Camera
HI,
I´m looking for a good helmetcamera for hanggliding. The camera should have the availability to adjust whitebalance and exposure manually. 3CCD would be great, CCU should be small enough to carry in the harness. Low power consumption would be helpful too. thanks for any suggestions alex |

Check out SportzShot. Their lipsticks are made by Sony, 480 lines, waterproof, etc. I own two of them and thay've worked well for my action sports POV shots.

thx for your advice
I already own such a 480TVL Sony, it is ok for controllable situations, but unfortunately with its AE, AGC and AWB behavior it´s unusable for my purposes. So I´m looking for a more professional solution with manually adjustements. thank you alex |

When manual adjustments have been necessary, we've used a Sony XC-999 lipstick extensively. For higher resolution SD shots we've used the Toshiba TU-140 with a wide angle lens. It's bigger, and the CPU is larger, but those can be placed in a padded Pelican case for safety.
