Wilson's Phalarope
A unique medium sized shorebird, in that the female wears the colorful plumage and lays the eggs and then leaves the nest and flys south leaving the male to incubate the eggs and raise the family.
Camera was a Panasonic GH5 fitted with the Panasonic/Leica 100-400mm lens. Filmed at UHD (4K) 60P and 1080 HD 30P at 180FPS with the shutter at 1/360th second. Tripod and head was a Miller AIR.
