Heading down to Texas
I am planning a trip down to the Brownsville and gulf coast areas of Texas to visit several National Wildlife Refuges. My goal is to video birds and butterflies, as well as other wildlife. Not being from Texas I was wondering if I could some advise on the best time of years to see/video bird migrations and, hopefully sighting an ocelot. Any advise from my Texas friends would be appreciated. Thank you, Bob

Howdy Bob,
I don't know enough to offer any useful advice, but if you somehow find yourself northward in the Austin or San Antonio area (still south Texas, but north of where you'll be), then I would be delighted to meet you for coffee / lunch / beer / whatever. Reach me via email: chris at dvinfo dot net |
