Re: Appalachian Spring - Video
You really captured the freshness of spring. You can read the hope and promise in all those droopy young leaves. Very nice.
I do have a question for you. I have hesitated going to the GH 4/5 because of the lack of telephoto capability compared to a smaller sensor camera. You seem to have gotten about as close to birds as anyone would want, however. Were these set up, near a feeder, for example. Can you estimate what the distance was? |

Re: Appalachian Spring - Video
Steve, distance was about 15--25 feet. Lens used is the 75-300 which is effectively 600mm on the long end. When I am out camping I take a little bird seed with me. If I am lucky some birds will come right into my campsite.

Yes, that is proof that spring has arrived. Very nice work. It puts me in the mood for going to bed now.
