Three Forks Autumn - Video
I spent a crisp November day exploring an area called Three Forks which is located deep in the North Georgia Mountains. This area is where Long Creek, Chester Creek and Stover Creek come together to form Noontootla Creek which is known for its wild mountain trout. I also spent a little time hiking on the Benton McKaye and Appalachian Trails which cross through the area. By accident I found a waterfall that I later learned is named Long Creek Falls. Despite a dry period it still had a pretty good water flow.
Video shot with a Panasonic HPX170, Igus motorized slider and Glideshot jib. Edited with Edius 5.51 and encoded with TMPGEnc 4. The music title is “Freefall” by Helen Jane Long and licensed for use from audionetwork.com.

Good job Mark,
perfect music for it, I think thats the beauty of smaller cameras now is sliders and jibs are more portable for such remote locations and add a lot to the piece. |

Mark, what a treat. I returned home from spending the holidays in Colorado and got to watch your beautiful video. The closing shot was by far my favorite. It made me feel warm again after sub-zero temperatures in southern Colorado. Thanks for sharing. Bob
